Arts Instruction
Visual Arts
Visual Arts engages scholars in a tactile creative process to promote social-emotional, kinesthetic and interdisciplinary learning. Through an open-ended approach, scholars are able to delve into the creative process freely without the constraints of product-focused curriculum. It is the overarching vision that all students are capable of creating with craftsmanship, imagination, and intention that drives the visual arts program at Ethos.
Music and Movement
Music and Movement is the place where scholars make the connection between mind and body, between cerebral and physical. Here, scholars get to communicate visually and aurally, bridging the gap between audible language and visible language. Music and Movement is where scholars find their voices with their entire bodies.
Performing Arts
Performing Arts provides scholars a stage to find their voices. Scholars express themselves creatively through the arts while gaining self-confidence for presentations and public speaking. Through Performing Arts, scholars have the opportunity to grow as individuals and as an ensemble.
Our Program
At Ethos Classical, our mission is to provide a rigorous classical curriculum, within a structured, supportive community, where every scholar is on the path to college and a life of opportunity.
Our innovative, evidenced-based academic program offers our scholars a well-rounded education that is grounded in the humanities.
We believe that literacy is the foundation for future academic success, ultimately, opening access to challenging subject matter and critical thinking.

EL
Ethos Classical is excited to offer both an asynchronous Computer Science and Spanish curriculum where scholars will be able to opt into one of the curriculum for the entirety of the school year. Scholars will be able to complete assignments at school or at home through Seesaw.
Writing
Scholars engage in formal writing each day. We prepare scholars to be able to confidently approach narrative, informational, and opinion writing. Our curriculum is based in the text The Writing Revolution.
Guided Reading
This block is executed in small groups of scholars based on their instructional reading level. Scholars engage in phonics, spelling, and reading comprehension. We use the Lifelong Readers curriculum for Guided Reading instruction, and Lexia for blended learning on chromebooks.

Tynker’s Mission
In a world where technology touches every aspect of our lives, it is crucial that scholars become active creators of technology, not just passive users. We believe that the ability to code allows scholars to make their ideas a reality. Tynker’s mission is to provide every child with solid foundations in Computer Science, programming, and critical thinking skills to prepare them to become better architects of their future world.
Foreign Language
As our scholars prepare for a life of opportunity, we are eager to offer a foreign language. Scholars will be able to independently learn Spanish with an online immersion program geared towards elementary scholars. Lessons include songs in Spanish, Spanish storybooks and live teachers that are fluent in Spanish.
